The major regeneration of Stockport continues at pace, with the latest plans for a 16-storey residential tower block set to be approved in the coming weeks. The Manchester Evening News reports that the latest proposals would see 72 new apartments with balconies plus co-working space on the lower floors.
The Tate Liverpool announced earlier this year that it would close in the autumn until 2025 for a significant redevelopment, and it has now invited contractors to tender for the project. Plans have recently been revealed for the £29m remodelling scheme of the Grade I listed former warehouse at the Albert Dock.

Insider Media reports that the new facility will be the UK’s largest green hydrogen production facility, and will cost up to £240m to develop.
Developers Therme have submitted revised plans for a 28-acre wellbeing resort in the Trafford area of Manchester. Place Northwest reports that the plans were first approved in 2020, but Therme has made some revisions to make the scheme more sustainable and engaging to visitors.
